Summer is running to an end! I haven't uploaded much, if anything at all, because this aforementioned Internship of mine has been eating my life away. There have been many highs, and many lows in this internship - and overall, I say it was worth it for several reasons.
However, Egypt is coming up faster than I can say Time and Relative Dimensions in Space (T.A.R.D.I.S.), and I'm getting slightly scared. I know there's been revolutions and protests right in Tahir Square, which is right near Old AUC Campus (where I'll be staying). But I sort of brushed it off, like oh it'll be over by the time I get there. No problem. I'm still going.

Hmm, so I should really be writing my 5000 word research paper for Archaeology, but I simply need to look for ways to distract myself. So here I am! Here to tell you about things on the internship front. It's still mine, I've been hugging it to myself like a newborn child. I start May 23rd and couldn't be more excited! I go down for a background check and fingerprinting so I can get my I.D. card pretty soon (during finals week). Housing has been settled; there was a bit of doubt with that, but I know where I'm going to be and I know I have a roof over my head.
Easter holidays went well! I did absolutely noooo work. Well, that's a lie. I read

I FINALLY have an internship for the summer. It was one I applied to back in November... I didn't know that I would even have a chance at getting to be there...
But I will officially be an intern with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum! (Albeit in the bookstore and not in archives or exhibitions and curatorial departments, BUT STILL!)
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
